OK my minions, I have a LOT of stuff to write in this blog. Seriously, loads. All of it it grade A stuff too. So much so, in fact, that I may have to end up writing very little, and of very poor quality, just so that we can all cope with it. Comprendé? Good.
Special Offer: First of all, if you haven’t seen it, we are now running an offer where if you refer a friend to Blurred Reality and they order a portrait – you get one free! I won’t bore you with the details here – as I made a post earlier about it here. Have a look and get referring.
Site News: Been busy updating and improving various sections of the site since launching. Redesigned the home page, how it works pages, the why us page, and I have also updated the look and operation of the order process to create a much more streamlined shopping experience. Check out the updates and let me know if you would like to see any changes anywhere.
Interesting Stuff: Lomo cameras seem to be making a bit of a comeback with the re-release of the famous (and notoriously.. idiosyncratic) Diana F++ cameras – which have been relaunched and repackaged as a kitsch and retro gift in shops this Xmas.

A nice idea, but the price is quite hefty when you are effectively buying a poor quality camera. Saying that – I love the shots these cameras produce- really bright, highly saturated images which remind me of grainy 70s film footage.
It should be something that can be done without too many problems in photoshop – I’ll be looking into it in the near future and will post my findings when I do.
In the meantime check out the Lomo Flickr group for some great examples of the type of photos these cameras produce.
And finally… I have nothing actually.
